AC Shadows Reveals Unexpected Attack on Titan Collaboration for Thanksgiving
In a bizarre partnership that challenges conventional expectations, Ubisoft has announced an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, including free extra story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Mission Uncovered
According to the official release, "An unusual encounter leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where whispers of banned rituals and terrifying metamorphoses reverberate through the obscurity." The narrative features a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who charges the pair with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a secret group.
The mission concentrates on "strange experiments and a monstrous foe" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Familiar Locations and Changes
The teaser highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser ends with a striking moment showing a character, probably the captive, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
Unique Prizes and Extra Material
Players who successfully complete the quest will obtain an exclusive katana in addition to numerous objects hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, including:

This patch also adds the game's newest complimentary story episode, titled "The Mystery."
